APPLICABILITY
The following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH and all related trademarks, whether or not expressly agreed. Use of our services constitutes acceptance of these Terms. Any deviation from these Terms requires written confirmation from Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH.
DEFINITIONS
- “Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH” (also referred to as “Our Company,” “We,” “Us”) is Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH, based in Wollerau SZ, Switzerland.
- “Customer” is any person who orders our services via the website, email, or phone. The Customer must be at least 18 years old and is responsible for providing accurate information during booking and for full payment of all related fees.
- “Passenger” refers to the individual(s) benefiting from the service. The Passenger may or may not be the Customer.
- “Service” refers to the hire of a vehicle with a professional driver.
- “Partner” refers to companies providing private driver services in Switzerland or Europe on behalf of Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH.
GENERAL TERMS
By accessing our website, app, or using any of our services, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms apply to all car rental, transportation, and related services booked through any medium, including website, phone, email, SMS, or app.
Acceptance of Terms
By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Any exceptions to these Terms must be agreed to in writing.
Booking Notice
Chauffeurs & Services requires a minimum of 3 hours’ notice for online bookings. For bookings with less notice, please contact our helpline at +41 44 797 61 24 or email booking@chauffeur-services.com.
Punctuality
While we strive to ensure our drivers are punctual, Chauffeurs & Services is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic or weather conditions.
Driving Standards
Drivers will operate the vehicle at safe and legal speeds, according to road conditions. The route taken will be the most appropriate unless otherwise instructed by the Customer.
Damage Responsibility
Customers are responsible for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the hired vehicle and will be billed for repairs or cleaning required to restore the vehicle. Customers are also liable for any loss of earnings caused by the vehicle being out of service.
Insurance
Chauffeurs & Services vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, Customers’ belongings are carried at their own risk, and Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
Luggage and Personal Items
Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal items at all times. Chauffeurs & Services accepts no responsibility for lost or damaged luggage or other personal items.
Lost Property
Any lost items found in our vehicles will be recorded and stored in our lost property log. We will make every effort to return lost items to their rightful owners.
Passenger Conduct
Chauffeurs & Services reserves the right to refuse service to any Passenger under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior may threaten the safety of the Chauffeur, vehicle, or other passengers.
Statutory Rights
These Terms do not affect the statutory rights of Customers as defined by applicable law.
SERVICE AREAS
Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH operates in the following regions:
Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Portugal, France, United Kingdom, Benelux, Scandinavia, and Eastern Europe (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece).
Specific categories of vehicles and pricing apply based on the region of service. For detailed pricing information, refer to the booking system or contact us directly.
BOOKING AND USE OF SERVICES
The contract for all bookings is between the Customer and Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH. We may fulfill bookings in one of the following ways:
- Directly with our own fleet and drivers.
- Through a combination of our fleet and Partner drivers.
- Via trusted Partner companies.
Passengers are expected to follow these guidelines:
- No more passengers than the vehicle’s stated capacity.
- No smoking, littering, or engaging in hazardous activities.
- Customers will be charged for any damage caused by themselves or Passengers.
Chauffeurs & Services reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unavailability.
PRICING
All pricing information is provided in advance via the website, email, or phone. Prices include the vehicle, driver, tolls, and fuel but exclude optional services such as tour guides or entry tickets. Pricing for specific car categories is as follows:
- Airport Transfers: Include 1 hour of free waiting time; additional waiting time is billed at the hourly rate.
- City Transfers: Include 15 minutes of free waiting time; additional waiting time is billed at the hourly rate.
- Hourly Bookings: Include 20 kilometers per hour; extra kilometers are billed at a per-kilometer rate.
Currency: Payments are charged in the local currency where the service is provided. Any applicable service or conversion fees will be clearly stated on the invoice.
PAYMENT TERMS
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card (3.5% surcharge), PayPal (3.5% surcharge), or bank transfer. Regular Customers (after five bookings) may also pay in cash or by card at pickup.
- Payment Terms: Full payment is required before the start of the service. Any additional costs, such as extra waiting time, will be billed separately.
- Corporate Customers: Approved corporate accounts may pay monthly, with invoices due within 30 days. Chauffeurs & Services reserves the right to suspend services for overdue payments.
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund, excluding credit card fees and non-refundable expenses.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in cases of no-shows will incur full charges.
- For event bookings canceled within 48 hours, 50% of the total invoice will be charged.
LIABILITY
Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH is fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, Customers are responsible for their belongings, and Chauffeurs & Services will not be held liable for any loss or damage to personal property.
CONSUMER RIGHTS & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Chauffeurs & Services customers have legal rights regarding services not performed with reasonable care. Complaints must be submitted within 7 days of the booking.
Disputes may be resolved amicably or, if necessary, through arbitration or mediation, subject to Swiss law.
GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
This agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to Swiss jurisdiction.
FORCE MAJEURE
Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH is not liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or other force majeure events.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
All trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property related to Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH are exclusively owned by us.
DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
We prioritize customer data protection and privacy in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal data provided during the booking process will only be used for service delivery.
COOKIES POLICY
By using our website, you consent to our use of cookies as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
UPDATES AND NOTIFICATIONS
Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of updates via email or website notification. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
