  • Chauffeurs & Services shall not be held liable for personal belongings, valuables or business equipment carried by the Passenger. Items left inside the vehicle remain the sole responsibility of the Passenger.

  • The company shall not be liable for indirect losses, including but not limited to missed flights, lost business opportunities, hotel or transport connections, financial penalties, or commercial damages resulting from delays, force majeure or circumstances beyond operational control.

  • In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure or sudden vehicle immobilisation, Chauffeurs & Services will make reasonable efforts to provide a replacement vehicle or alternative transport solution, subject to availability. This constitutes the full extent of our obligation.

  • Chauffeurs & Services shall not be considered in breach of contract in cases of force majeure, including but not limited to severe weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters, air traffic disruptions, civil disturbances, road closures, or government-imposed restrictions.

By confirming a booking, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that liability is strictly limited to the direct value of the service contracted and invoiced, excluding any consequential or intangible damages.

Any customer concern or service-related claim must be submitted in writing within 7 calendar days following the date of service. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for review, unless otherwise required by mandatory local consumer protection law.

Chauffeurs & Services aims to resolve all complaints amicably and efficiently through direct communication. If an agreement cannot be reached:

  • Disputes shall first be addressed through neutral mediation or arbitration, prioritising a professional and confidential resolution.

  • The governing legal authority for all contracts is Chauffeurs & Services CF CY, Cyprus, unless a specific commercial agreement designates another jurisdiction for corporate accounts.

  • Where international or local consumer law requires, regional dispute handling procedures may apply, but the contractual reference remains the Cyprus jurisdiction.

By entering into a contract with Chauffeurs & Services, the Customer acknowledges and accepts that any dispute will be processed under the legal framework of Cyprus, unless otherwise defined in an approved written agreement.

  • All contractual relationships with Chauffeurs & Services, regardless of the country of service delivery, are deemed to be concluded with:

    Chauffeurs & Services CF CY
36 Aigyptou Avenue, 6030 Larnaca, Cyprus
Legal jurisdiction of reference: Republic of Cyprus

    Accordingly:

    • Primary Legal Framework (Default for All International Bookings)
All contracts are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Larnaca, Cyprus, unless otherwise stipulated in a signed corporate agreement.

    • Switzerland (Local Operations – Informative Clause Only)
Services operated under Chauffeurs & Services CF GmbH may remain subject to certain local regulatory compliance obligations, but the governing contract remains tied to Cyprus law, not Swiss law.

    • United States (Local Operations – Informative Clause Only)
For services provided via Chauffeurs & Services Ltd (USA), local operational regulations apply for transport licensing and insurance compliance; however, the contractual legal authority remains Cyprus.

Important: The above structure ensures a single international contract jurisdiction (Cyprus) while maintaining local regulatory compliance in all regions of operation.

Chauffeurs & Services shall not be held liable for any delay, disruption or failure in the performance of its services if such interruption results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters (floods, storms, earthquakes, volcanic activity, etc.)

  • Strikes, labour disputes or industrial actions affecting aviation, transport or security personnel

In such cases, Chauffeurs & Services will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements or assistance, subject to availability. However, no financial compensation or liability shall arise from delays or non-performance caused by a force majeure event.

Acceptance of these Terms implies express acknowledgment that service continuity cannot be guaranteed in the event of force majeure, and that Chauffeurs & Services’ obligation is limited to reasonable assistance rather than compensation.
